Cynthia Bonacum is a New York based actor and singer. She graduated with her Master’s in Musical Theatre from NYU Steinhardt in 2018. She also holds a B.A. in English from Vassar College and she uses her love of language and literature to inform her storytelling on stage.

She has been featured at Feinstein’s/54 Below, The Provincetown Playhouse, The New York Fringe Festival, and more. Most recently, she starred as Masha in the first University workshop of Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin’s musical comedy Life of the Party and made her regional theatre debut as #11 in Sarah DeLappe’s The Wolves. She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA. Outside of the theatre, Cynthia’s other passions include reading and creating comics, ice skating, and watching TV shows with a strong female lead.
